Pam Tan, founder and principal of local online lights store Home Cartel, is a Filipina interior designer developing experiential residential and commercial space designs. Demonstrating an eclectic taste and industrial-modern chic vignettes to her interiors, Tan has successfully become one of the most paged designers in the country.
Pam was intrigued by design at a young age and is heavily influenced by her family’s wood processing business. Also an extensive traveler, her global whereabouts has allowed her to inject different perspective and a thoughtful approach to her designs.
Before her present full-time scheme at Home Cartel, a visual testament to her ability to design is her own design firm, PTI Studio where she managed a design team that handled residential and commercial projects for recognized establishments.
Among Tan’s projects include designing residentials in exclusive properties and villages like White Plains, Ayala Land, Rockwell Land and Shangri-La Properties and more.
Tan received her academic training in interior design from Philippine School of Interior Design with honors and a People’s Choice award for her thesis Nouvelle Vie. She also has works published and featured on top design magazines like Real Living, Good Housekeeping and Cosmopolitan Philippines.
